Why did you feel you wanted help putting together your wedding fashion?

Since Julie lives in NYC (fashion capital), I knew she would be up on the newest wedding trends and be able to show me pieces that may not be available to me in my hometown. I really looked to her expertise in the industry to lead me on the right path while showing me the newest collections from various designers.

What did you find most helpful or valuable about working together?

Putting together a schedule of all the bridal boutiques/stores that I wanted to visit. She coordinated everything from scheduling times, private rooms, while managing enough time for lunch in between and making sure we got the most time with a route that made sense (not living in the city, this would be hard to coordinate).

How did you feel on your wedding day?

I felt beautiful! We tweaked a dress from Monique Lhuillier and made the style geared toward my vision and comfort level, so I knew no one has seen it before. We also took overlay from the dress itself and created a veil and then topped the night off with an ostrich feathered skirt. Every little detail came together so beautifully (even the lace on the shoes matching the lace on the wedding gown).

If you were to recommend The Stylish Bride to your best friend, what would you say?

It is VERY worth it to go to someone who is so knowledgeable in the wedding industry and is very familiar with dress types, body types, and has the network to help any bride feel beautiful and STRESS free while in the process.

What surprised you the most or made you the happiest about working together?

How close of a friendship we made from the start. I felt Julie really listened to everything I liked and didn’t like about every dress and paid attention to my wants. She also took a photo of me in every dress, which at first, I didn’t think I would like, but looking back at 50+ dresses I tried on, it helped make my decision that much easier. Also, she was not able to make it on my actual wedding day, but the process leading up to that was so easy and seamless. She even setup and came to all my try on appointments once I picked the dress. She truly went out of her way to make sure I was one happy bride!
