Why did you feel you wanted help putting together your wedding fashion?

I had a very particular vision of what I was looking for in a wedding dress but I was overwhelmed with where to begin. The moment I found Julie I knew I would love to work with her! In an instant, I felt like I knew her all my life and it felt like she understood me, too. She made my vision and the dress of my dreams possible!

What did you find most helpful or valuable about working together?

The relationship and the trust I have in Julie was invaluable. She is so warm and kind, it felt like I was with a life-long friend in every fitting room. I trusted Julie immensely in the entire process, she is beyond an expert and she made the whole process approachable and fun. I had nothing but peace of mind knowing she was right beside me the entire process. Whenever I wasn’t sure if one of my ideas was possible, Julie made sure it was all possible.

How did you feel on your wedding day?

Relaxed. I have never felt more calm, beautiful, and comfortable in my entire life. Julie made sure every single detail of my dress was to perfection, I was truly so comfortable in my own skin and in my wedding dress that day. Julie’s bridal assistants had all of Julie’s notes on hand, they acted together to account for every last detail and they did it with such kindness and joy. Julie and her team made everything so easy and special, I didn’t have even the smallest of worries or doubts about my dress that day. Julie had every detail accounted for.

If you were to recommend The Stylish Bride to your best friend, what would you say?

Working with Julie was the best decision I made for that day – and, of course, marrying my husband! I honestly don’t know how many times I expressed throughout the process “I don’t know how brides do this all without Julie.” Truly. She is a living Fairy Godmother, bridal concierge, fashion force and friend all in one. The wedding process is overwhelming and daunting as it is, Julie made it fun and enjoyable. With Julie it wasn’t only enjoyable, it was truly lovely. My parents and I will always treasure our trips out to New York and our memories all together. I would do it all over again and Julie would always be my first call! We still talk about those days in the bridal shops with Julie, we will never, ever forget it.

What surprised you the most or made you the happiest about working together?

I was surprised how immediately comfortable I was with Julie. I had never met her before and I didn’t know what to expect in the entire process. I have never been in a bridal shop before, and from the first instant I met Julie, she guided me through it all like I was a life-long friend. She put me at ease, she made every experience so easy and special. She was a wonderful listener and support in every minute of the styling process. I truly miss working with her and I will always cherish the memories I made creating the dress of my dreams.
