1). What made you decide you needed help pulling your wedding day look together?

I knew I would need help that day solely based on the fact that I had fourteen bridesmaids – yep fourteen! I also had four flower girls so there were a handful of dresses to be steamed and, bows to be tied in an organized, tamely manner. Carrie Sartor my wedding planner from Lyndsey Hamilton Events, had suggested using Julie and her team from The Stylish Bride. It was an easy ” yes of course” decision because I didn’t want to be worrying about having this big group dressed and ready to go on time

2) What did you find most helpful about working together?

Julie was an absolute pro when it came to helping me fluff out my skirt and drape my veil for the photos. She made sure everything was perfectly in place and was there behind every photo making sure my girls and I were flawless. And if anything did go awry, whether it was a busted zipper or a ripped seam I had the upmost confidence in Julie and her team to swiftly fix the problem BUT because they were so diligent and professional, my entire group all 20 women ( myself, my bridesmaids, my mom and flower girls) made it through without a single dress or shoe mishap!

3) How did you feel on your wedding day?

I felt very calm. I’m normally a little anxious but when it came to my wedding I was very relaxed and was just enjoying being together with my friends and family getting ready for the best night ever. I had no worries that day because I made sure I trusted and felt comfortable with everyone I was working with throughout the process leading up to that day and more importantly the people I surrounded myself with on the actual day. Julie’s team, and my hair and makeup team from White Rose Collective couldn’t have been better. They truly handled such a large group with such ease and everyone looked absolutely stunning.

4) What was the best moment of your wedding day?

I feel like I get asked this question a lot – what was the best moment? It’s so hard to pinpoint because it truly was the best day of my life. But I think the best moment was when Grant and I walked into our tent just the two of us before the guests. We got to take in the scale and the beauty of this tent that had been transformed into something so breathtaking. It was very special just seeing it with him, it was like we stole away a little moment to ourselves and appreciated every detail that had been put into our reception.

5) What’s the biggest piece of advice you can give to other brides that are planning their wedding?

Biggest piece of advice would be to stay calm and stay true to who you are. Don’t set unrealistic goals for your body or get caught up in all the decision making chaos. For however long your engagement is whether it’s 6 months or a year, it flies by and you will wish you hadn’t wasted those moments on being stressed about invitation font but rather being so completely happy that you’re marrying your best friend. My goal for wedding day was to be the best version of myself and i honestly feel like I achieved that. I felt really good inside and out that day and a perfect example was after Julie got me dressed I went right into photos. I didn’t even look in the mirror and then i realized halfway through photos – oh shoot maybe I should look at myself!? Bottom line don’t stress the stress, and enjoy every single moment.
