I have always loved fashion, in fact I majored in fashion in college.  Where I struggled most was finding outfits in my size. It occurred to me that I needed help when it came to our engagement shoot. I was so lost and couldn’t find a single thing to wear that would fit me!

The stylists I was originally introduced to had no idea how to work with someone who wasn’t a size 2. Completely frustrated, we decided to contact Julie Sabatino and it was one of the best decisions I made! We started with a phone call where I explained my struggles as a plus size bride who only dreamed of wearing her favorite high-end designers. Luckily, I had already found my Oscar de la Renta wedding gown, but I still needed looks for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, my mother, and my bridesmaids, and styling my wedding dress the day of. Julie understood it all and I was off to NYC the following week!

My mother, bridesmaids, and I had the most extraordinary experience working with Julie. She has extremely valuable connections in the New York fashion industry ranging from custom dress makers to representatives at all the designer boutiques. She has knowledge of all body types, ages, and which designers are able to assist with inclusive sizing and alterations. Julie makes sure everything is pulled when you arrive and fitted perfectly by the time you leave, she even checked with my photographer to make sure certain materials would photograph properly. I had the most amazing and helpful experiences with her and her connections at Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, and Monique Lhuillier. I will never forget how happy and special I felt during my trip!

As if things couldn’t get better, Julie is so kind and personable. I enjoyed talking during lunch with her and grabbing coffee in between appointments. My looks for my wedding were everything I envisioned. My bridesmaids and mother looked stunning, I cannot recommend her enough ☺
