1). What made you decide you needed help pulling your wedding day look together?

I decided I needed help putting my look together because I had gone to few bridal stores by myself and realized that the task was definitely not going to be easy! There are so many options!! Haha I also had a 9 month old at the time, and a lot going on with all of the other aspects of wedding planning, so when my wedding planner, Leslie Mastin, suggested getting help from a pro, Julie :), I immediately said yes!

2) What did you find most helpful about working together?

Julie was my wedding dress guru! I had never even opened a bridal magazine in my life before I got engaged, so I was in need of some serious schooling! Julie helped me with all the inns and outs of wedding dress shapes, designs and designers! She gave me a sense of confidence and peace of mind that everything was going to be taken care of, which was incredibly valuable.

3) How did you feel on your wedding day?

I felt much better than I expected! Haha I was much more at ease than I had anticipated. Not only did I feel great in my dress, but I felt comfortable!

4) What was the best moment of your wedding day?

It’s so hard to choose the best moment of my wedding day, but one of them was definitely during the ceremony when my sister and my father were singing our wedding song and my husband and I were standing at the altar with our daughter, all together as a family. ?

5) What’s the biggest piece of advice you can give to other brides that are planning their wedding?

The biggest piece of advice I would give to other brides is to really try to stay present during your wedding day. It’s very overwhelming but try to keep reminding yourself throughout the day/night to take it all in it.
